Foundations in Accountancy
Foundations in Accountancy (FIA) or Certified Accountant Technician (CAT) is certification by ACCA, UK. FIA is a suite of awards that employers can use to provide employees with a grounding in accounting and finance.
The FIA/CAT can be used to develop recruits from secondary schools or to encourage those already working in accounts support roles to obtain formal recognition of their abilities. This will help organization access new talent pools such as school leavers and career changers.
