2 Days Training on Basic Accounting
The Center of Business Administration (CBA) conducted two days training about “Basic Accounting” on October 07 and 08, 2020 at Zardozi Organization, Kabul, Afghanistan.
Day one of the training started with participants’ introduction. Later one, the trainees took a pre-test for the training and they all agreed one some ground rules and expectations for the training.
Throughout the day, they learnt about basics concepts of business, accounting and bookkeeping. Participants were taught some accounting vs. bookkeeping topics such as bookkeeping systems transaction, accounting equation, types of financial statements, source documents, preparing balance sheets and income statements.
During the second day of the training, first of all, the trainers conducted a quick review of the lessons learnt from day one. During the rest of the day, participants got familiar with preparing cash flow statement, accounting cycle, debit- credit rule, preparing journal, preparing leger, preparing trail balance, passing adjusting entries, preparing adjusted trail balance, preparing income statement, preparing balance sheet, and Afghanistan tax law.
Through the two days, the trainers used some methods such as Q&A session, and some practical works to make the training more engaging and fun for the participants.
This training was concluded with review of the training objectives, a post-test for evaluation of the training outcomes and certificate distribution ceremony.
